ActionTask AI is a task management application that allows you to:

Create, organize, and manage tasks locally on your device
Synchronize tasks with your Google Tasks account (requires sign-in)
Use AI-powered features to break down complex tasks into subtasks (subscription feature)

3. Use of Service

You agree to:

Use the App only for lawful purposes
Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the App
Not use the App to store or transmit harmful, fraudulent, or illegal content
Comply with Google’s Terms of Service when using Google Tasks synchronization

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Subscription Features

Certain features (AI task breakdown, multiple lists, Apple Watch sync) require an active subscription purchased through the Apple App Store.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account
Prices are displayed in the App before purchase
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period

Refunds

We stand behind our product. If the App fails to deliver core claimed functionality:

You may request a refund through Apple’s standard refund process

Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies.

5. AI Features Disclaimer

No Warranty on AI Output

The AI task breakdown feature uses machine learning models to suggest subtasks. You acknowledge and agree that:

AI suggestions are not infallible. Results may be incomplete, inaccurate, or irrelevant to your needs.
You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and accepting AI-generated subtasks before use.
We do not guarantee any specific outcomes, productivity improvements, or accuracy from AI features.
AI models may produce unexpected results. The quality of suggestions depends on your input and the inherent limitations of the underlying technology.

Your Responsibility

You agree to review all AI-generated content before relying on it. We are not liable for any decisions you make or actions you take based on AI suggestions.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
NON-INFRINGEMENT
ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF ANY CONTENT OR RESULTS

We do not warrant that:

The App will meet your specific requirements
The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
Results obtained from the App will be accurate or reliable
Any errors in the App will be corrected

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill.
Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not responsible for any damages arising from:
- Your reliance on AI-generated content
- Synchronization issues with Google Tasks
- Data loss due to device failure, software bugs, or user error
- Third-party services, including Google or Apple

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ActionTask AI, its developers, affiliates, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

Your use of the App
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any third-party rights
Any content you create or store using the App

9. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services including:

Google Tasks API – Subject to Google’s Terms of Service
Apple App Store – Subject to Apple’s Terms and Conditions
Firebase/Google Cloud – For crash reporting and AI features

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of these third-party services.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination:

Your right to use the App ceases immediately
Provisions regarding disclaimers, liability, and indemnification survive termination

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the updated Terms on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the App publisher resides, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
